The Blood Bank of Alaska High School Challenge AWARDS program is
designed to recognize the individual achievements of high school
blood donors. Students are currently recognized for their achievements
in sports, academics, band, etc. and this is the Blood Bank of Alaska’s
way of recognizing personal student achievements for making the
commitment to give blood, save lives in the community and put an
end to blood shortages in Alaska.
Giving blood 3 times within the school year takes
dedication and planning and your efforts truly help put an end to
blood shortages throughout the year. The patients in need of your
LIFEsaving gift cannot thank you enough for your efforts and the
Blood Bank of Alaska recognizes your dedication by awarding you
an exclusive High School HERO lapel pin in addition to your certificate
of achievement. That’s something to be proud of!
Giving blood 2 times within the school year shows
great achievement in the community and the Blood Bank of Alaska
will award you with an official Certificate of Achievement recognizing
your LIFEsaving efforts. Show your pride by displaying it for all
to see. You’ve earned it!
Giving blood 1 time during the school year in support
of your high school blood drive gets you a FREE
Alaska High School Challenge T-Shirt. Not only will you be the
envy of all your friends, you can wear your t-shirt with pride knowing
that you were brave enough to meet the challenge and Save a LIFE.
