The Blood Bank of Alaska High School Challenge REWARDS program is designed to recognize the individual achievements of high school blood donors. Students are currently recognized for their achievements in sports, academics, band, etc. and this is the Blood Bank of Alaska’s way of recognizing personal student achievements for making the commitment to give blood, save lives in the community and put an end to blood shortages in Alaska.

The Blood Bank of Alaska is hosting their First Annual GIFT OF LIFE Awards Ceremony in June, 2008. This is an exclusive semi-formal event to recognize outstanding community leaders and their dedication to saving lives in Alaska. This event will be hosted at one of Anchorage’s finest hotels and open only to nominated blood drive coordinators or by special invitation. THE MORE DONORS YOU RECRUIT INCREASES YOUR CHANCES OF RECEIVING A SPECIAL INVITATION TO THE EVENT. THE TOP 10 INDIVIDUAL RECRUITERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL INVITATION.

The more blood donors you recruit, the more chances you have of winning great prizes! Each Recruitment Voucher you hand out increases your chances of winning. Why? Because each time someone donates blood at a Blood Bank of Alaska center or mobile blood drive and places YOUR Recruitment Voucher into the official drop box is one more entry ticket in the High School Challenge Prize Raffle that will take place at the GIFT OF LIFE Awards Ceremony Event in June! (Attendance not required to win H.S. Challenge Raffle prizes.)

Just be sure that your name is listed on the Recruitment Voucher as well as your High School so that it too receives an extra credit point toward the challenge for statewide recognition!
