THE CHALLENGE
Blood Bank of Alaska is pleased to announce another
successful year for the High School Blood Drive Challenge. Alaska
schools registered a whopping 2334 blood donors last school year,
with Anchorage's Bartlett High School finishing first statewide
with a total 227 registered donors. second place honors went to
Palmer High School with 127 registered donors, and Eagle River High
School took third place statewide with 97 registered donors. Congratulations
to every student who rose to the challenge and saved lives in 2010/2011.
