The Top 3 Alaska High Schools are ranked according
to the following categories - Most Presenting Blood Donors
This category award is for the Most Presenting
(registered) Blood Donors for the current school year. When an individual
registers to donate blood at his/her high school's blood drive,
his/her donation will count as one credit point toward the school's
total presenting number for the current year.
Extra credit points can be earned by recruiting blood donors in
the local community to give blood at any Blood Bank of
Alaska center or mobile blood. Official Recruitment Vouchers are
available at all blood center locations and blood drives.
Class Size
Schools are categorized by class size based on the total population
of students at the high school. Separating schools into class size
categories gives each school a more equal chance to compete with
schools of similar sizes and resources for recruiting purposes.
They are as follows:
- Class I (0-499 TOTAL Population)
- Class II (500-999 TOTAL Population)
- Class III (1000 or more TOTAL Population)
