 Anchorage – Michael H. Donaldson,
thirty year Alaskan resident is suffering his third bout with
lymphoma. Michael just
returned from Seattle on July 1st, after a two month stay when
he received a transplant of his own healthy cells. Just four
months later his illness has returned. Now, the only option left
is a bone marrow transplant from a donor, otherwise he has about
six months to live.
Michael is a husband of twenty-five years, and the father of
four. He loves to fish and hunt. Until last month, he co-owned
Battery Specialists of Alaska on Fifth Avenue in Anchorage. Michael
is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the V.F.W. and
the Knights of Columbus.
Become a bone marrow donor on December 30th, all it takes is
one tube of blood. You could save someone's life. |
