The Blood Bank of Alaska is in the process of developing
a series of quarterly newsletters beginning in 2010. These
newsletters are designed to inform the community of upcoming events
and issues related to the Blood Bank of Alaska and to recognize
and thank our generous donors and sponsors.
These newsletters will also provide helpful tips
and facts for use by anyone willing to volunteer
their support. By working together, Blood Bank of Alaska and
the Alaskan community can increase awareness about the importance
of donating blood and alleviate any shortages in the future. Remember,
the rarest type of blood is the type that isn’t available
when you need it most.
